Accessibility Statement

Who & what

This is an accessibility statement from Turkey Creek Conservation District website.

Measures to support accessibility

The Turkey Creek Conservation District is currently working to include accessibility as part of our mission statement, throughout our internal policies, by the appointment of an accessibility officer and/or ombudsperson, and to provide continual accessibility training for our staff and volunteers. We are evaluating and planning implementation of accessibility best practices for font size, line height/spacing, color contrast, structured headings, screen reader scannable, attachment settings, and image alt-text.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Our website does not have an assessment rating for WCAG 2.1 level AA. which means that the content has not been evaluated or the evaluation results are not available.
